Fashioned from select premium USA hickory, these sticks are characterised by their unique appearance and outstanding visibility under all playing conditions. Following a strict inspection to insure an absolute, uncompromising standard of quality, the sticks are finished with the 11-step finishing process, which distinguishes them from any other drumstick in the world. Macrolus sticks feature the strike zone. This zone is created by compressing the top layers of wood in the rim-shot area of the drumstick with a 5-ton press. Because of the increased density which is created in this outer layer, the stick is more durable and more capable of withstanding rim-shot impact.
