The following document described the refunds policy for on-line, phone or in-store purchases for Drum Shop Glasgow.
On-Line or phone purchases returns policy
New items change of mind:
For any new item you have the right to cancel an order without reason prior to dispatch within 14 days of receiving the goods provided that the goods are returned in identical as-new condition and must not show any signs of usage. For the avoidance of doubt, we consider that the item includes any box and all internal packaging which must also be returned in mint condition. The customer must return the item at their own expense in packaging sufficient to protect the item.
Should any item be returned and is no longer in mint condition, only a commensurate partial refund will be made
New Items which are faulty
For any new item which is delivered with a defect or a fault, you have 14 days from receipt to request that this is returned for a full refund (including any original delivery cost) or an identical replacement, if available. The customer must ensure that the item is well packaged for return, which will be arranged at our expense.
Any sold used item may be returned if they are not satisfied with the received item. The customer must pay for any return delivery costs. Provided that the item is returned the original condition then then the fee will be refunded minus £30 to cover the original postage and administration costs.
In-store purchases return policy
There is no change-of-mind refund for any in-store purchase. However a credit note of exchange will be offered within 30 days of purchase. Goods must be returned in their original condition.
Faulty Goods: Within 30 days of the date of purchase delivery, faulty goods will be replaced or refunded. Outside of 30 days from the date of delivery, faulty goods will be repaired by the manufacturer, under the terms of manufacturer’s warranty. This policy is invalidated if the goods have been altered in any way from their original condition, or if the fault is due to misuse by the purchaser. Goods cannot be returned as faulty where a specific defect in the product was brought to the attention of the customer at the point of sale.
Bespoke or special order items or any special services including repair or part replacement cannot be cancelled.
We recommend that when arranging delivery back to us of any goods that these goods are insured to their full value whilst in transit. We do not take responsibility for any damage suffered during its return delivery.
All new items are covered by a manufacturer’s minimum 1-year return to base warranty.
Refunds can only be made by the method originally used to pay for the goods. Credit/debit card refunds will be processed immediately, once we have received the goods back and inspected them. It can take upto, but no longer than, 14 days for the funds to show on the customer’s account.
