The Meinl 14″ Irish Bodhran, Brown Burl has a traditional finish that compliments the modern features. An extra-deep shell gives a rich, full sound, whilst a dampening layer on the rim reduces overtones. The traditional cross brace has been removed to enable direct hand pressure on the head, enabling contemporary pitch-bending techniques and direct input on the drums tone. A tuneable head adds more direct impact into the drums sound.
