Grab some history with this great-sounding 1964 Ludwig snare drum!

The condition is generally good. The snare throw-off mechanism works well, as does the classic red pad internal dampener.  There is some pitting of the chrome which can be seen on the photos, which is common for drums of this vintage.  The snare wires have one wire loose but is original and sounds very good.    There is no rust on the tension rods or anywhere else on the drum.

We have replaced the top head with a new Remo coated ambassador 14″ one.

The serial number is 10842 and the drum has that classic Ludwig snare sound.
