The Drum Dial Precision Drum Tuner tunes drums easily and precisely, repeatedly. Using the heads tympanic pressure rather than tension rod torque, drums are tuned to the tension of the head from an easy-to-read gage. Allowing you to tune to the heads tension rather than lugs mitigates any differences in the lugs tolerances, corrosion and thread ware – all things that effect their pressure on the head through the hoop.
Simply placed next to the tension rod, you can tune without hitting the drum, which makes tuning in loud environments a breeze. Compact and user-friendly, it is indispensable by some drum techs and professional players looking for accurate tuning night after night.
